Fall Protection Repairs Operative (Sheffield)
Job Description
Due to rapid exponential growth, Eurosafe are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working Fall Protection Repairs Operative to join our ever-developing Remedials Division.
Working as a minimum 2-man site team, you will be responsible for repairing permanent and often bespoke fall protection and access equipment across various sites in the UK.

As part of this role you will be required to carry out the testing, inspection and repair of fall protection equipment in line with current regulations and industry standards.
You will work on site to ensure RAMS are understood and adhered to, safely operate MEWPs and other equipment, and complete accurate documentation relating to site visits and repairs. The role involves liaising directly with clients, providing clear feedback on system performance, and identifying opportunities to improve access and safety arrangements.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Test & inspect fall protection equipment
To be familiar with the test procedures for each component
Assist Supervisor with completing relevant paperwork regarding site visits accurately
Ensure RAMS are adhered too and understood
Follow site specific job requirements to repair safety equipment safely, efficiently and correctly
To test all repaired equipment
To liaise with the client and provide feedback on the performance of his / her system.
To promote Eurosafe, its products and services. to make recommendations for additional fall protection which may be required to improve access requirements for both the end user and PPM engineers.
All works will require a good ability to work on your own initiative to overcome problems encountered and establish and follow efficient working practices on site.
Maintain a good working relationship with Supervisor
Completion of site job packs
Report to Repairs Manager / Team about problems on site
Safely operate MEWPS and other equipment on site
To have an understanding of the current Work at Height (Amendment) Regulations 2007 and any future amendments or updates
To work in accordance with relevant industry related standards
Maintain a good working relationship with team members
Correlate all information back to the office including access & potential sales
Deal politely with clients both face-to-face and on the phone
Experience & Qualifications:
Full Driving Licence
Physically fit & Confident at working at Heights
Team player, cooperative, interested in further development.
Ability to communicate at all levels.
Ability and willingness to travel.
Self-motivated individual, able to work on own initiative.
Flexibility to carry out the necessary duties to complete the task efficiently and in a timely Manner
Preferred Qualifications:
CSCS
IPAF
PASMA
Working at Height
Fall Arrest Harness Training
Training will be provided if the successful applicant does not hold the preferred qualifications.
