Fall Protection Inspection Supervisor

Job Description

Due to rapid exponential growth, Eurosafe are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working Fall Protection Inspection Supervisor to join our ever-developing Inspection Division.

Working as a minimum 2-man site team, you will be responsible for repairing permanent and often bespoke fall protection and access equipment across various sites in the UK.

As part of this role you will be required to carry out the testing and inspection of fall protection equipment in line with approved procedures and current Work at Height regulations.

You will support supervisors and managers by accurately completing site paperwork, reporting any issues, failures or required repairs identified during inspections, and ensuring RAMS are fully understood and followed on site. The role involves safely operating MEWPs and other equipment, working collaboratively with team members, and communicating professionally with clients both face-to-face and over the phone. You will also be responsible for feeding information back to the office, including access observations and potential opportunities, to support effective site and contract management.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Test & inspect fall protection equipment

• To be familiar with the test procedures for each component

• Assist Supervisor with completing relevant paperwork regarding site visits accurately

• Ensure RAMS are adhered too and understood

• Report to Supervisor /Contracts Manager / Team about problems on site

• Safely operate MEWPS and other equipment on site

• To have an understanding of the current Work at Height (Amendment) Regulations 2007 and any future amendments or updates

• Maintain a good working relationship with team members

• Assist with reporting failures & repairs on inspected equipment

• Correlate all information back to the office including access & potential sales

• Deal politely with clients both face-to-face and on the phone

Experience & Qualifications:

• Full Driving Licence

• Physically fit & Confident at working at Heights

• Team player, cooperative, interested in further development.

• Ability to communicate at all levels.

• Ability and willingness to travel.

• Self-motivated individual, able to work on own initiative.

• Flexibility to carry out the necessary duties to complete the task efficiently and in a timely manner

Preferred Qualifications:

• CSCS

• IPAF

• PASMA

• Working at Height

• Fall Arrest Harness Training

Training will be provided if the successful applicant does not hold the preferred qualifications.
