Fall Arrest Blocks (also known as Inertia Blocks) and Self-Retracting Lifelines (SRLs) are commonly used on overhead systems and vertical ladders to provide reliable fall protection when working at height. We supply a comprehensive range of SRLs from leading manufacturers, suitable for both onshore and offshore applications.

Our product range includes controlled descent devices, retractable fall arrest devices, and fall arrest recovery blocks, available in lengths from 2m up to 65m to suit a variety of working environments and operational requirements.

In the event of a fall, the lifeline is rapidly extracted from the housing until it reaches a critical locking speed. At this point, the internal braking mechanism automatically engages, arresting and decelerating the user over a short distance - similar to the locking mechanism of a vehicle seatbelt.
