Remedial Operations Manager
Job Description
Due to business growth, Eurosafe are looking for an individual with a strong background in the fall protection industry to fulfil our Remedial Operations Manager role.
The role will be to manage the execution of remedial contracts from planning to completion including direct management of Eurosafe Compliance remedial engineers.
As part of this role you will be required to manage and oversee remedial teams to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with contractual requirements. You will be responsible for planning and coordinating remedial works, producing and issuing RAMS and job packs, allocating appropriate labour and equipment, and ensuring all documentation is accurately completed and maintained within the ERP system.
The role involves providing technical and administrative support to both engineers and clients, arranging permits to work, attending site meetings and design surveys, and overseeing the production of certification for new and repaired systems.
You will also take responsibility for team development, recruitment, performance reviews and on-site audits, while maintaining high standards of compliance, communication and client satisfaction. Invoicing, work completion and ongoing training compliance also form a key part of the role.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Manage and oversee remedial teams, including direct management of site supervisors and operatives.
Manage the execution of the contract in a safe and efficient manner.
Produce RAMS & job packs for all work orders including photos and drawings.
RAMS to be issued for all works prior to site visit with signed confirmations from engineers received prior to start of works and saved onto ERP system.
Planning of allocated works, ensuring that appropriate labour is allocated to the tasks and ensure they are efficient & effective in their execution of works.
To compile/check the list of equipment required to carry out remedial works upon receipt of the Purchase Order.
To book in planned works with clients with written confirmation to be issued for all planned works.
Provide written / verbal administrative support to clients when required.
To provide technical support to team and clients
Arranging permits to work in accordance with clients’ requirements.
To update site information on ERP & all documents are saved to the system.
Ensure department produces certificates for new / repaired systems
Update and maintain master copy of remedial department generic RAMS workbook.
Recruit new engineers where the business requires.
Drive the development and improvement of all engineers who work underneath you and organise where required.
Attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
Undertake engineer audits on site and provide constructive feedback to engineer, recording such site visits on the Eurosafe Internal management system.
Undertake reviews of engineer performance on a 1to1 basis and also annual reviews. This includes probationary reviews for new engineers.
Attend site and undertake design surveys and provide details to suppliers to allow fabrication of items.
Attend meetings with clients for the successful undertaking of remedial contracts.
Assist on site if and when required.
Invoicing, commit and end all completed works.
Maintain an up-to-date training record, by completing all required, assigned and organised training
