Working as a Member of a Confined Space Rescue and Recovery Team (CSCRT08)
Working in confined spaces exposes an individual to a range of potential hazards, some of which may threaten injury and, in some cases, may possibly lead to death. Therefore, a rescue plan is essential and specialist confined space rescue training and assessment is required to equip those undertaking rescue and recovery work with the necessary skills and competencies to assess risk, and control hazards that may affect the safe rescue of others.
The course is for personnel who are involved in Rescue & Recovery of casualties from confined spaces.
The aim of the course is to educate delegates in realistic work situations where rescue and recovery of personnel is required.
Delegates will be taught how to safely plan and execute a rescue plan, and inspect and use relevant equipment in line with the manufacturer’s user instruction.
