MSA Altair 5X Gas Detector

A wide variety of both toxic and infrared sensors are available for the Altair 5X. The real strength is in the XCell sensors; a revolution in sensor technology. These sensors provide fast response time, bump testing in less than 10 seconds and span calibration of 60 seconds for common configurations. When the sensor is due for replacement, an advanced warning is given in good time. This way you know well in advance that a sensor needs to be replaced and you can take this into account.
The gas detector has a robust polycarbonate housing that can withstand a fall of 3 meters. The buttons can also be operated with gloves on and the display has a high contrast so that the data can be read without difficulty. The Li-ion battery has a deployment time of up to 20 hours. The detector is compatible with the MSA Galaxy test system and MSA Link software.
