Rooflight Cover Inspection
The rooflight covers and fragile roof fall protection covers are classed as pieces of work equipment and require regular inspection under The Provision & Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER). This can take the form of a regular visual inspection carried out by a competent person. In the event that an independent third party is required to undertake this inspection. For environments with high risk - such as areas with heavy footfall, severe weather, or high pollution - a more frequent inspection schedule of every 6 months is recommended to ensure safety compliance and functionality.
