Sales Advisor

An exciting vacancy has arisen in our Compliance Business for a new sales advisor who has a passion for hitting/overachieving against targets.

We are after someone who has investigation skills, tenacity, and the ability to turn a small lead into an order or larger opportunity.

To ensure this is delivered at every level we will provide appropriate site-based training & experience to the right individual to ensure their technical knowledge matches their ability.

This role is for Eurosafe Compliance Ltd (ECL), based at our office in Attercliffe, S9.

Accountabilities and Main Duties

Your role will be to utilise an existing database from a variety of sources, containing property details, to identify those responsible for organising maintenance works. It will be down to you to identify the organisation and person responsible for arranging the services which we undertake and then quote/secure for ourselves to undertake these services.

As the successful candidate, you would be expected to contact sites/customers by making regular phone calls and emails in a view to promoting and securing services we provide. It would be down to yourself to maximise each opportunity and update each interaction on our own internal customer relationship management software. The ideal candidate would have a strong work ethic, personable manner, good attention to detail, have previous experience in making out-going sales calls and achieving sales targets. Full training will be given to enable you to be successful in this position. Upon successful completion of your probation period, you will be entered into our departmental commission scheme which is based on our overall team’s growth performance.

You will be expected to work towards set targets, both individual and team based.

Key tasks/areas, duties and responsibilities

Using a database of information, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Establishing the person(s) responsible for maintenance on the selected building(s)

  • Contacting relevant person(s) to discuss the services we offer

  • Provide a quotation for the services which ECL offer

  • Progress regularly until the quotation is won

  • Accurately inputting the information gathered into an in-house software system

  • Work towards achieving both personal and team-based sales targets

  • Responding to customer enquiries via telephone and email

  • Carrying out surveys and client meetings as and when required

  • Ensuring workflow is kept up to date

  • Data inputting

  • Answering Inbound telephone calls

  • Making Outgoing telephone calls

  • Attending relevant training courses as and when required

  • Maintaining knowledge in relevant field

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience of hitting / exceeding targets

  • Telephone sales

  • Motivated and able to work effectively to achieve sales targets

  • Team player, co-operative and interested in further development

  • Ability to communicate, internally and with external stakeholders

  • Attention to detail

  • Punctual & good time management skills

  • Literate & numerate

  • Self-motivated individual, able to work on own initiative

  • Flexibility to carry out the necessary duties to complete the task efficiently and in a timely Manner

  • Honest & reliable

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £25,000.00 per year
