Tour de Eurosafe Charity Bike Ride - Supporting British Heart Foundation
On 28th November 2025, Eurosafe’s Compliance team will be taking on an impressive challenge — cycling the equivalent distance from our Sheffield office all the way to Zwolle in the Netherlands. That’s around 450 miles — all completed indoors on an exercise bike!
But it’s not just about the distance. This challenge is about teamwork, a bit of friendly competition, and raising awareness for a cause that truly matters.
While they won’t physically be pedalling across Europe, every mile will count towards supporting the British Heart Foundation. It promises to be a fun, energy-filled event complete with snacks, refreshments, and a well-earned celebration once the finish line is reached.
Why we’re doing this
British Heart Foundation plays a vital role in funding life-saving research into heart disease, supporting patients and their families, and working to prevent heart-related illnesses.
We're taking on a charity bike ride to support the British Heart Foundation, and we'd be so grateful for your support in reaching our £1,000 goal! Every donation funds life-saving research and support for the 7.6 million people in the UK living with heart and circulatory diseases. With our support, BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. Every pound we give helps save lives.
Through this event, we aim to make a positive difference in our local community while putting our values into action.
It’s also a fantastic opportunity to promote wellbeing in the workplace, strengthen team spirit, and have some fun together — all in support of a truly important cause.
Event details
When — 28 November 2025
Where — Eurosafe Compliance Attercliffe Office
Goal — To “cycle” 450 miles — the virtual distance between Eurosafe Sheffield and Eurosafe Zwolle, NL
Who is doing it — Eurosafe Compliance staff members
What to expect — 4 exercise bikes, kindly provided by Pure Gym, will be set up in the office. Participants take turns. Snacks, drinks, and treats will be provided throughout the day with a celebration at the end of the day.
Alongside the cycling challenge, we’ll be hosting a charity bake sale — and everyone who brings along baked goods will automatically be entered into our very own Eurosafe Bake Off!
There’ll also be a raffle with great prizes to be won, plus keychains, food, and drinks available to purchase on the day, with all proceeds going directly to the British Heart Foundation.
