Business Development Manager - Training & PPE (South)
An exciting vacancy has arisen in our Training & PPE division which will suit an ambitious individual that has a strong working drive, ability to gain good relationships with new & existing customers and keen on developing within their role to produce first class results and in fast-paced, growing department.
Accountabilities and main duties
Working within the Training & PPE division, you will be responsible for actively promoting and selling our range of specialist training courses including, but not limited to, Confined Space and Working at Height.
Additional sales responsibility will include the selling of products and services to new and existing customers including, but not limited to, items such as PPE, fall restraint/arrest systems.
You will be required to attend sites across the UK, ideally local to the South and South-East of England, to undertake site surveys and meetings, although travel further afield may be required.
Key tasks/areas, duties and responsibilities
You will be responsible for the following:
Producing quotations for end user training for working at height, confined space and Ladder Association training.
Lead generation for all Eurosafe departments.
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, and colleagues alike.
Be involved in the decision-making process, including strategies, of the department.
Accurately inputting the information gathered into an in-house software system (ERP) and other general administration tasks.
Progressing quotations until won using a variety of structured sales techniques, for both new and existing customers.
Liaise with other Eurosafe departments, such as production and purchasing to ensure customer requirements are met.
Working closely with colleagues towards achieving both personal and team-based targets.
Attend sites to undertake meetings and surveys.
Attend exhibitions to represent Eurosafe.
Responding to customer enquiries and complaints.
Ensuring workflows are kept up to date.
Work with and support colleagues in developing their skills and competence.
Attending training to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
Seek to always maintain knowledge and competence in job specific relevant fields.
